The forward scored two goals in only eight games, helping lead the magicJack to a third-place finish in the league in the same season. The magicJack disbanded in late 2011 and the WPS folded in early 2012. Rapinoe first began participating with the Australian W-League with Sydney Football Club FC after which she returned in America.
